The Wheeling Park High School Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) organization held its annual “Tie One On” campaign today in the school’s student parking lot located behind the school.
By placing ribbons on students' vehicles, SADD’s goal is to remind Patriot students that the upcoming Prom celebration and other events should be fun, exciting and memorable times for them. The students hope to warn their classmates and peers that destructive decisions like impaired or distracted driving could mar memorable events like Wheeling Park’s prom.
The event is held in partnership with the Community Impact Coalition and Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
