Wheeling Park High School student, Gavin, participated in Relay for America last night.
The goal of the organization is simple: unite one mile at a time. This is the nation’s first mass cross country flag relay in honor of America 250.
Gavin made it to the hand off for the next relay segment with the flag carrier a little after 11pm last night.
This flag began the journey in San Francisco and will end in Washington, D.C. on July 4th.
