Xavior. Ethan. Kameron. Selena. Noah. Logan. Mariah. Garrett. Hayden. These young men and women were celebrated today at Wheeling Park High School Annual Military Signing Day. Representing enlistment in the US Army, US Navy, WV Air National Guard, and the WV Army National Guard, this group represents less than 1% of the population that serve our country.
As WV Teacher of the Year, veteran, and guest speaker Miss Tiff explained this morning: “Freedom is no longer something you’ll just enjoy, it’s now something you’ll defend.” We honor these young men and women, and we celebrate their next great step.
