Congratulations to Steenrod Elementary School student, Niko!
Niko submitted a photography piece to the National PTA Reflections Contest. Reflections explores student artwork in a variety of mediums.
This year’s theme was “Accepting Imperfections.”
Niko submitted a stunning photograph of his grandmother’s hands accompanied by a heartfelt essay that explained while his grandmother may feel her hands are imperfect, to Niko’s family, her hands are everything.
This is the first time ANY student in the state of West Virginia has won first place in Reflections.
