With the help and guidance from the YWCA Wheeling, many students from Wheeling Park High School had an amazing opportunity this spring break. They are currently touring HBCUs, or historically Black colleges and universities.

“Students & chaperones toured Clark-Atlanta University this morning. We had lunch on campus at the Student Union and then spent an hour shopping at the Universities Student small business section. We also were able to see the Clark Atlanta University Divine-9 Fraternities and Sororities do their Step-Lines.
Later, we participated in a tour of the WSB-TV 2 Atlanta Studio with News Anchor Mark Winnie. Student got to speak with anchors, reporters, and behind-the-scenes staff. We also were permitted to go into the actual News Room, as well as the monitor room to see what goes on behind the scenes.”
