Ohio County Schools is hosting its “Beyond Ed. Welcome Breakfast” at Wheeling Park High School with guests from West Virginia University, West Liberty University and Bethany College. Beyond Ed. is a student leadership group that supports emerging leaders and introduces them to the field of education as a future profession. Patriot students taking part in today’s event were recommended based on their leadership skills and their potential to be excellent educators. Beyond Ed. will be featured tonight on WTRF7 and WTOV9!!!

Aiden O'Hare may have clinched the Spirit Week championship today with his Throwback Thursday costume. He threw it waaaaay back...like 1776 back!! Awesome.
We are disappointed to announce that we were unable to find a replacement game and will not have a football game tomorrow night. Full ticket reimbursements will be processed through our online vendor.
We will crown our Homecoming Queen at the Dance on Saturday night. Doors will open for our students at 6:30 and crowning ceremony at 7:00.
Western Wednesday was another hit for our Spirit Week! Hemlock hats were a super fun prize today.

Friday Night's football game against Fairmont Senior has been cancelled due to a Covid outbreak on the Polar Bear's team. We are working to find a replacement game and hope to know more by early afternoon tomorrow. We will hold ticket reimbursements until we are 100% sure there will be no game. In the event of no game, we will crown the Homecoming Queen at our dance and Homecoming Court parents are welcome to attend.
Tonight was VB Teacher Appreciation Night. Each Senior picked a staff member that they appreciate and shared all the reasons why. We take positive relationships seriously around here and these teachers are getting it done. ❤️#wearePARK 💙
