🏀 Keep the ball rolling! 🏀
The public schools in the Northern Panhandle are gathering at the Palace on the Hill for a very special cause:
Philanthropists Shawn and Angela Ball, Brad and Alys Smith's Wing 2 Wing Foundation, and Larry and Lisa Pack's Pack Family Foundation are visiting communities across the state for the “Keep the Ball Rolling tour.”
The event celebrates a million-dollar investment in support of West Virginia students. In partnership with United Way of Central West Virginia and Communities In Schools, the annual event encourages attendance by ensuring families have what they need behind the scenes.
The initiative launched in 2021, and it’s a way for Communities In Schools Ohio County to support families through the ability to purchase additional clothing and hygiene items for students.
Thank you to the various OCS liaisons that served on today’s panel and ALWAYS serve kids. Thank you to the students and Ohio County Strings Association for greeting today’s guests!
Special shout out to both Wheeling Park High School administration and West Virginia Department of Education for helping make events like this possible!
