Meet Wheeling Park High School’s Class of 2005 and Culinary Teacher, Miss Hillberry!
In her time at WPHS, Miss Hillberry played volleyball. She ultimately started in the culinary program and Skills USA as a junior.
After graduating, Hillberry was inspired by her experience at Park to pursue a Culinary Degree.
She attended West Virginia Northern for Culinary Arts and worked in different areas of Wheeling, including the racetrack and Bethany College, before heading home to teach. She’s been a staple at Park since 2010.
“I love seeing what these kids are capable of. They’re capable of a lot more than what they may have the opportunity to experience outside of school.”
Hillberry will soon lead the culinary portion of the annual Culineering Challenge. Stay tuned to learn more about this unique competition for WV students.
