We welcome our full staff back on Monday, August 12. And then, in four short days, we will have classrooms ready to greet our 1st-5th Grade students! On Tuesday, the playground and cafeteria will be the hub of activity as new and returning 1st-5th graders and families are welcome to reconnect, drop off larger classroom supplies, and build excitement for the first day of school from 4:30-6:00.
While families of our younger students (PreK and K) are welcome to attend, we will have a special social just for you on Thursday, August 22 from 1:00-2:30 to allow you time to get to know our school, the staff and meet our PTA officers.
The first day of school for grades 1-5 is FRIDAY, August 16. Drop off is between 7:50-8:20. If you plan to snap a few first day pics in front of the school, please be courteous and do not block the flow of the drop off line. Your are able to pull off to the side of the lot, or pull into an available parking spot. If your child will NOT be in attendance on Friday, please make sure to contact the school office by phone, 304-243-0356, or email Ms. Nickie, nphillips@k12.wv.us.
