Warwood students love to read, and there are rewards!!!
Viking elementary students took part in a celebration of its reading incentive program on Jan. 25, and there was a special guest, as the Washington Wild Thing was greeted with thunderous applause!! Students won books and took part in an intense Hula Hoop competition!!! Students are encouraged to read 20 books or read for 200 minutes each month, and they learned that top readers will win a trip to a Wild Things game and get to go on the field! It was an exciting day in Warwood.
