Congratulations to Wheeling Park’s Kayla Clatterbuck who attended the Envision National Youth Leadership Forum for Medicine!!!
The forum was held June 12-20 in St. Louis. Kayla learned about handling emergency situations, and she was taught clinical skills like suturing, phlebotomy, blood pressures and pulses. She also attended the Jump Simulation Center in Illinois where she learned the process of getting into medical school and presenting a research project.
Kayla met doctors in residency who discussed their specialties and offered her advice. She said she was grateful for the opportunity that taught her leadership skills, communication and teamwork. Kayla was very proud to represent Wheeling Park High School!!!
