Megan DaGrava has been selected as the 2021-2022 Madison Elementary School Teacher of the Year.
DaGrava joined Ohio County Schools in 2010, and she has been at Madison since that time. Madison Elementary School Principal Andrea Trio said DaGrava is an educator who is committed to lifelong learning, and her innovative style makes learning fun and engaging for students.
“Megan takes much pride in her instruction, and she is always looking for ways to teach her students using a holistic approach,” Trio said. “She strives to do what is best for them each day. Showcasing cross-circular ways to promote her instruction is certainly one of her strongest attributes. As she continues to grow professionally, her students consistently reap the benefits. It is evident that they love learning from her.”
DaGrava said she is proud to be an educator at Madison Elementary School.
“I feel blessed each day to be on this learning adventure surrounded by colleagues and students that help me to become a better teacher,” she said.
