VR
For the last six days, Marcus Guy, specialist from the Nuskool Scholars program, based out of southern WV, has been working with small groups of students at Wheeling Park High School with a virtual reality employment program.

With the help of West Virginia Department of Rehabilitation Services, Nuskool has had the chance to let students virtually experience a dozen professions.  These students were able to provide paramedic services, install solar panels, and even fix a communications tower 400 feet in the air…all through virtual reality!

“The simulations are self-paced, and student typically complete them in 15-20 minutes,” states Guy.

When students were asked what their favorite part of VR was, one student responded, “ALL OF IT!”

What a great opportunity! Thank you NUSkool Scholars and DRS!
