Sunday, May 18th, Wheeling Park High School graduated nearly 355 seniors. As they gathered around the back of WesBanco Arena waiting to enter, students fixed their honor cords, adjusted their caps, and enjoyed the company of their now former classmates.
Over $5 million dollars in accepted scholarships was awarded to this class, and $190,000 comes from the Phyllis A. Beneke Scholarship Fund.
“Each year, during the graduation ceremony, it is our privilege to announce the recipients of the Phyllis A. Beneke Scholarship, a scholarship established in memory of Phyllis A.
